*Be sure to wear sun screen, wear good shoes, and bring a water bottle!
*Be sure to bring a warm towel to wrap around you while you wait to change out of your wet clothes after Beach Day. You might have to sit in the classroom for a bit before your turn in the bathroom. We don't want you to freeze!
*Bring a change of clothes for the dance. You may dress in regular clothes or in a costume from any decade (1940's - 1990's), but no matter what you choose to wear, it should be nice (ie. slacks, ties, skirts, dresses). You may bring supplies to fix your hair after Beach Day, but please do not bring anything that plugs in (curlers, etc.).
*Students who would like to donate treats, snacks, or drinks for the dance will be paid $100 of 6th Grade money for their donations.
*Parents are welcome to pop in for 5- 10 minutes of the dance if they would like to watch one of our decade dances, but we do not recommend they stay for the whole dance.
Thursday
12:40 pm 6th Grade Auction
3:00 pm GarageBand CDs and Report Cards Distributed
*Please do not bring anything to school with you except a grocery bag to carry home the items your purchase in the auction. Gifts for your class, teachers, principal, etc. and a marker to have classmates sign something (like an autograph book or T-shirt) are also acceptable. All other items should remain at home.
I am excited for all that we have planned for the end of the year! Please remember to be on your best behavior and treat your classmates and teachers with kindness and respect. Students who choose to misbehave are choosing to be removed from activities. Remember that you are all almost 7th graders! I know you know how to make good choices. You are wonderful students! We are going to have a great last week!
